Identify the preposition in each sentence or phrase


1. The girl put the spaghetti on top of the dog’s head.

2. Dad stood next to the kitchen table, while mom washed the dishes.

3. On the News the News Reporter reported that the Police Officer pulled up to the stoplight and

got out of the car and said, “Halt!”

4. The teacher told the students to pull out a piece of paper for the upcoming quiz and the class

went into a rage.

In the morning we get up to eat breakfast with the family. Shortly, after that we go outside to start our

chores. Midway through, we stand on the front porch or the back balcony and watch life pass us by.

Next we continue our work routine within the blink of an eye---between both of us we work from 8 till

noon.
